Abstract:
The Division of Nutrition and Dietetics in the Ministry of Health is pleased to invite abstract submissions for the 1st National Maternal, Infant and Young Children (MIYCN) Symposium (MIYCN 2022), to be held on March 8 – 11, 2022.
The abstracts are for oral and poster presentations on complementary feeding programs, tools, practices, strategies, technologies, and models from a wide range of disciplines/sectors including
agriculture, health, education, water, sanitation and hygiene, early childhood development, gender and others that are aligned with the symposium objective.

Symposium objective
The primary objective of the symposium is to share evidence on addressing Maternal, Infant and Young Children Nutrition (MIYCN) with a focus on complementary feeding from a multisectoral
perspective.
Specific objectives
1. To share research findings, best practices, and lessons learned in successful program implementation for maternal-infant and young child nutrition
2. To provide a platform for identification of gaps, priorities, and opportunities for the framework of action on complementary feeding and expanded family diets.
3. To generate learnings that will inform policy and programming on MIYCN.
